All Ant and Dec jokes aside, Jet are set to release their new single ‘Get Me Outta Here’ on December 27 through Elektra/Atlantic Records UK .

Released on one-sided, limited-edition 7” etched vinyl, ‘Get Me Outta Here’ will be the final single taken from ‘Get Born’, the band’s debut album that has clocked up over 2 million copies worldwide and has recently been certified platinum in the UK. The band are currently touring their native Australia before regrouping to write and record their follow-up album, set for release in 2005.

The band recently picked up ‘Best Rock Video’ at the MTV Video Music Awards in Rome, as well as being nominated for seven awards at the 2004 ARIA’s (the Aussie Brits). Jet cleaned up winning six awards including ‘Best Group’ and ‘Album Of The Year’.
