Mark Ronson - Toxic Single Review
The multi-genre mind mauler, Mr Mark Ronson follows up on his star splattered debut album. He plucks out a weighty blues/jazz, R n' b with an indie undercurrent release of streetwise wisdom and strut. The Gnarly, jungle titled voice of Dirt McGirt rubs against a Lady Sovereign style female vocal element and a soulful male one too, to mix up focus, emotion and produce a bland but enjoyable concoction. This is a neat snippet of Ronson's continuing eclectic nature that is sure to continue into the forthcoming 2nd album 'Version', so get ready for some more broadness.
