Sheffield based 4 piece Milburn are kicking up a storm across the country and tipped for big things in 2006. A single, 'Send In The Boys' is set for a March 27th release, it received its first spin on Zane Lowe's Radio One show this week. The band are currently on a sold out UK tour which kicked off at Liverpool Barfly on Feb 15th.

Milburn are brothers Joe Carnell (Vocals/Bass), Louis Carnall (Guitar/Vocals), Tom Rowley (Lead Guitar) and Joe Green (Drums). The band created a flurry of excitement with the release of their debut single 'Showroom' which was released through Free Construction in September last year. Following its release the band took their energy packed show on the road with fellow steel city darlings the Arctic Monkeys.

Milburn possess as much passion and charisma to rival any of their contemporaries. Their no frills indie rock is peppered with spiky guitar riffs and melodic vocals packed with attitude. Their Mercury Records debut, 'Send In The Boys' is out on March 27th. A second single, 'What You Could've Won', is out on July 10th followed by their debut album on July 24th, more information to follow.
