Most bands would be happy with sales in excess of half a million for their debut album, coupled with international critical acclaim, they might sit back awhile and enjoy... but most bands are not Razorlight

When most might be closing a chapter, Razorlight will not be allowing the dust to settle. After a jam packed year, scaling heights and seizing prizes, the new song, ‘Somewhere Else’ could be Razorlight ’s finest three minutes, eighteen seconds to date.

A bold and blazing torch between their awesome debut 'Up All Night' and the forthcoming second album, Razorlight ’s brand new single ‘Somewhere Else’ is a confident and stunning statement of intent. Arranged by both Borrell & Burrows, (Jagger & Richards, Ant / Perroni etc.) together with Carl and Bjrn playing an assortment of instruments, the Razorlight sound has now expanded and grown to feature piano, melatron and rare instrumentation. ‘Somewhere Else’ builds and teases, it flits from wistful to full-on rock pedigree as Borrell’s lyrics break forth charged on by gren, Dalemo and Burrows.

Somewhere Else’ will be receiving it’s live debut to almost 40,000 people at the sold out March shows and will go on to prove that it is quite simply a modern classic, an anthem that will resonate throughout the festival fields and i-pod earphones with equal intensity.
