Shark Tale - Christina Aguilera's 'Car Wash' Clip - International Trailer

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, along comes Shark Tale - the coolest, hippest, meanest, funkiest underwater animated adventure ever created.

The Shark Tale Soundtrack will feature selections from the score by Hans Zimmer, as well as songs from such multi-platinum and Grammy-winning artists as Christina Aguilera, featuring Missy Elliott, performing a new version of the disco classic “Car Wash”; Mary J. Blige, featuring Will Smith, doing “Got To Be Real”; Justin Timberlake and Timbaland performing “Good Foot”; and the film’s Ziggy Marley partnered with Sean Paul on “Three Little Birds,” the song made famous by Marley’s father, Bob Marley. In addition, there are songs from JoJo, D12, Ludacris, India.Arie, and others. The Shark Tale Soundtrack will be released on September 21 on DreamWorks/Geffen Records.

Hot on the heels of the eagerly anticipated SHREK 2, PDI/DreamWorks’ next feature, Shark Tale is set for UK release on October 15th.

Shark Tale takes place in the undersea underworld, where the son of the shark mob boss is found dead and a young fish named Oscar (Will Smith) is found at the scene...

Being a bottom feeder, Oscar takes advantage of the situation and makes himself look like he killed the finned mobster. Oscar soon comes to realise that his claim may have serious consequences, as the salt-water mobsters come looking for revenge...

Oscar is a fast-talking little fish whose big dreams have a habit of landing him in hot water. Lenny (Jack Black) is a great white shark with a sensitive side...and a secret — he’s a vegetarian. When a great white lie turns Oscar into an improbable hero and the truth about Lenny makes him an outcast, these two become the most unlikely of friends.

“Shark Tale” stars the voices of Academy Award nominee Will Smith (“Ali”) as Oscar, a hustler who has always been able to fin-agle his way out of trouble, until now; two-time Academy Award winner Robert De Niro (“Raging Bull,” “The Godfather, Part II”) as Don Lino, a great white shark at the top of the Reef’s food chain; Academy Award winner Rene Zellweger (“Cold Mountain”) as Angie, the beautiful angelfish who harbours a secret crush on Oscar; Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie (“Girl, Interrupted”) as the femme fatale, Lola, a cross between a lion fish and a dragonfish, who uses her feminine wiles to get what she wants; Jack Black (“School of Rock”) as Don Lino’s son Lenny, a great white shark who is a closet vegetarian; and multiple Oscar-nominated director Martin Scorsese (“Gangs of New York,” “Goodfellas”) as Sykes, a puffer fish who is full of hot air and never misses an opportunity to make a few extra clams.

Rounding out the main cast are: Doug E. Doug and Ziggy Marley as Bernie and Ernie, two Rastafarian jellyfish with a stinging sense of humor; Michael Imperioli (“The Sopranos”) as Don Lino’s oldest son, Frankie, a chip off the old shark; Vincent Pastore (“The Sopranos”) as Luca, an oily octopus, which makes him the perfect right-hand, left-hand, right-hand, left-hand man; veteran actor Peter Falk (“Columbo”) as Don Ira Feinberg, a shark who is long in the tooth, but still has plenty of bite left; and Fiona Philips (TV’s “GMTV”) as the Reef’s top anchorfish, Katie Current.

Oscar – Will Smith
Oscar is a fast talking little hustler fish, who has been able to fin-agle his way out of trouble-until now. After taking credit for being a hero, Oscar starts living the good life. But if he can’t live up to his reputation, he knows the tide will turn against him again.

Lino – Robert De Niro
Lino is a Great White Shark and the master of the Reef. He has big plans for his sons, Lenny and Frankie, but when Oscar interferes with those plans, Lino decides to make Oscar the Catch of the Day.

Angie – Renee Zellweger
Angie is a beautiful angelfish, who harbours a secret crush on Oscar. She was the only one who believed in Oscar when he was a nobody, but she can’t help but be disappointed when he plays the hero to the hilt. Angie is truly the angel on Oscar’s shoulder, making him do the right thing in spite of himself.

Lenny – Jack Black
Lenny is the son of Lino, but when it comes to eating his fellow sea-creatures, this Great White Shark has lock-jaw. Who ever heard of a Great White Vegetarian Shark? If Lenny is ever going to earn his father’s respect, he is going to have to teach him that it’s sometimes okay to swim against the current.

Lola – Angelina Jolie
Lola is a sensuous Dragon Fish, who uses all her feminine wiles to get what she wants – and what she wants is the Reef’s newest hero: Oscar. A true femme fatale, Lola may prove fatal to Oscar when she gets her hooks into him.
