The Glitterati ‘You Got Nothing On Me’ is released by Atlantic on March 14th.

Rat Pack Of Rock, The Glitterati, release their new single You Got Nothing On Me” through Atlantic Records on March 14, 2005. Their self-titled debut album, recorded in Los Angeles, that bought lauded producer Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses – Appetite For Destruction) to the helm, is set for release May 23, 2005.

The Glitterati formed just two years ago. Paul, Jon, Nic and Billy were in different bands in their hometown of Leeds. Jamie had moved down to London. All had grown frustrated by the limited vision of their peers. But when the five came together in a new band, everything clicked. The band released ‘Do You Love Yourself’ through Alan McGee’s Poptones label late in 2003, signed to Atlantic Records where they released ‘Here Comes The Close Up EP’.

2004 was a blur as the band began to carve their path. The band toured incessantly. With each successive tour, The Glitterati just got better and better. They played with Jet, Kings Of Leon, The Wildhearts, the Datsuns and The Vines. In July 2004 they flew to Los Angeles to demo songs for their debut album with Clink.

Returning briefly to the UK to play to packed audiences at the summer’s major festivals, including T In The Park, Download and Reading/Leeds, it was then back to LA for the serious business of making the album.

"We’re not the kind of band that just goes through the motions," says singer Paul Gautrey. "There are bands that have hype and bands that have one great single, but we think we’ve got a great thing going on and a great album. And we genuinely love what we’re doing."
