Front man Eddie Baranek bellows out with vigour in an album containing a number of brisk garage rock belters, with the aid of bruising guitars that will leave the listener requiring bandages after first listen. This Detriot trio’s third full length offering contains a provocative mix of emotion, raw energy and an undertone of rhythm, as the previously released single; ‘Circus’ testifies to in a The

Datsuns type showcase. The howling nature of tracks like ‘Will I Be True’ and ‘Can’t Stand You’ bring seventies attitude rock back to the fore.

The rasping nature of the album is cushioned by Baranek’s versatility, as he mellowsout and puts on his soothing voice in ‘Waiting For You’, whereby the nature of friendship in the modern world is scrutinized. It is tracks like this that give The Sights enough to survive in this bloated modern rock music market.
