Paris Hilton has praised her bodyguards for their quick reactions as they dealt with a potential threat over the Independence Day holiday (04Jul11).
James Rainford, 36, who is banned from going within 200 yards (183 metres) of the star, was arrested outside the hotel heiress' house in Malibu, California on Monday (04Jul11), and subsequently pleaded not guilty to a charge of violating a protective order.
Hilton has revealed her security team was on hand to help as the "scary" drama unfolded and she insists "everything is fine now".
A post on Hilton's website reads, "Unfortunately, this past weekend, the man who confronted me at an L.A. courthouse last spring, came to my home in Malibu. Although it was another scary situation, I have a great security system and four 24 hour bodyguards who helped stop him before he could do any harm. Everything is fine now and I know it's going to be a great summer. Everyone stay safe and have fun!"
Rainford previously served time in jail for attacking Hilton's then-boyfriend Cy Waits outside a Los Angeles courthouse in April (11).
