Rock icons Iggy Pop, New Order and Patti Smith took to the stage in New York City on Tuesday night (11Mar14) to headline the 24th annual Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert.
The event, in aid of helping to preserve Tibetan culture, included an energetic performance from Pop, who powered through his tracks Sister Midnight and Nightclubbing, before he joined New Order stars Bernard Sumner, Phil Cunningham, and Tom Chapman for a rendition of Love Will Tear Us Apart.
Smith tackled Perfect Day, by late legend Lou Reed, and shouted out to the crowd, "Don't forget it - use your voice."
Pop and Smith have performed at the concert on several previous occasions.
