Peaches Geldof has been secretly engaged for six months.

The socialite's boyfriend S.C.U.M. rocker Thomas Cohen popped the question in the summer and an overjoyed Peaches said yes.

She revealed: "Yes, I'm engaged! We don't want to get married for a couple of years yet though so don't expect me in a dress yet. I'm so happy!"

After publically announcing her happy news, Peaches - the daughter of Band Aid co-founder Bob Geldof - also revealed she and Thomas are moving into a London apartment in the New Year.

She added: "We're moving to Whitechapel, to a three-bedroom Victorian conversion, which we got for pretty cheap. We're moving in around January. It's really exciting."

The marriage will be Peaches' second. She tied the knot with Chester French drummer MAX DRUMMEY in a shock ceremony in August 2008 but they divorced just six months later.

Peaches was also previously in a relationship with 'Hostel' director Eli Roth.

The happy couple stepped out together at the UK premiere of new movie 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' in London tonight (12.12.11).

The pair walked the red carpet together and the 22-year-old blonde showed off her diamond engagement ring.

Other stars at the glitzy event included the movie's main cast members Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara and Joely Richardson.
