New Order frontman Bernard Sumner has ruled out ever performing again with the band's former bassist Peter Hook after the pair traded bitter insults last year (11).
The Blue Monday hitmakers announced in September (11) they were to stage two comeback gigs without original member Hook, and the news sparked a furious war-of-words between the two musicians.
Hook vowed to sabotage the reunion and insisted he was "determined to f**k New Order over in any possible way", and now Sumner is adamant Hook has burned his bridges with the British band forever.
He tells Mojo magazine, "After some of the things he's said about me, I certainly don't want to work with him again."
Hook left New Order in 2007 after 27 years.
