The original CHARLIE from cult 1971 movie WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY makes only one public appearance a year to discuss the film.

Reclusive Peter Ostrum was just 13 when he made the movie with Gene Wilder and promptly walked away from a Hollywood career to concentrate on his studies.

Now, Ostrum refuses to talk about his past as a child star apart from one day a year - when he's the guest of local students at a rural New York state school on their last day of term.
