Czech supermodel and tsunami survivor Petra Nemkova dedicated her Glamour Woman of The Year honour to her sister OLGA at a gala ceremony in Hollywood on Wednesday night (02NOV05).

The eastern European stunner shocked her sibling, who she had credited with helping her recover from the tsunami horrors she faced on holiday in Thailand last December (04), by calling her up on stage at the Los Angeles prizegiving.

But Olga was far from delighted with her sister's plan to honour her at the US edition of Glamour magazine's bash.

Nemkova explains, "When she met me on the stage, she said, 'I'm gonna kill you.' I said, 'OK, I didn't get killed by the tsunami, but I'm gonna get killed by my sister.' She didn't know I was going to do that."

The model, who is still recovering from a smashed pelvis she sustained as she clung to a treetop for survival as the disaster ravaged Thailand's coastal areas, wasn't the only celebrity honoured at the glitzy event - Goldie Hawn took home a Lifetime Achievement award and Catherine Zeta-Jones and cancer survivor Melissa Etheridge were also honoured.
