With all of the contestants now announced for Dancing On Ice, Jennifer Ellison and Matthew Wolfenden are current favourites to win the seventh series of skating show, with bookmakers offering odds of 4/1. The champion skier and TV ski commentator Chemmy Alcott is not far behind, along with the Sugababes singer Heidi Range and the former Blue Peter presenter Andy Akinwolere.
The other contestants, who may well upset the odds once the show starts, are Dallas star Charlene Tilton, Stand By Me actor Corey Feldman, one hit wonder pop star Chesney Hawkes, EastEnders star Laila Morse, fitness guru Rosemary Conley Cbe, former Pop Idol contestant Sam Nixon, his fellow TV presenter Mark Rhodes, Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, creator of freerunning Sebastien Foucan and Coronation Street star Andy Whyment.
The series will be hosted by Christie Bleakley and Phillip Schofield. Torvill and Dean will also be on hand to coach the contestants and their experienced partners, whilst Louis Spence and Katarina Witt will be on the judging panel. They replace the controversial judge Jason Gardiner according to The Telegraph. In the past, the celebrity winners have included Gaynor Faye, Sam Attwater and Kyran Bracken.
