The pop singer Pink has announced a new professional relationship with the make-up company Covergirl. The 32 year old, who is soon to release her new album 'The Truth About Love,' posted a message on Twitter to get her fans prepared for an announcement and then posted a message that read "Guess who's the new Covergirl!!!!!!!!!!!" It was accompanied by a professional photograph of the singer sporting pale pink lipstick that matches the pink streaks in her hair, as well as copper nail varnish and striking blue eye make up.
Pink's Covergirl collaborations on from the cosmetic brand's association with the likes of Christie Brinkley, Rachel Hunter, Tyra Banks, Niki Taylor, Sofia Vergara, Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore, Ellen Degeneres and Taylor Swift - all of whom have been the face of Covergirl cosmetics in the past. Pink seems to be excited about the new working relationship and said "I have a lot to celebrate. I called my new album The Truth About Love, and the truth is that I have my beautiful family and baby girl, my new music, and now my partnership with Covergirl to love. Joining a group of women who have always inspired me - to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look - is such an honour."
A spokesperson for Covergirl said that they chose Pink (whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore) because "she is a powerful and provocative role model, bringing edge and a rock star attitude to her make-up."
