Plan B was beaming at the premiere of his debut film 'Ill Manors' - which he wrote and directed - but whilst out in London he revealed that the movie almost never saw the light of day after he suffered a burglary which saw the laptop containing the files for it stolen.
Talking to MTV News, Plan B - real name Ben Drew - explained "Crack heads robbed the laptop with the days rushes on it and me and one of the other guys in the crew chased him down and caught the mother-f**ker and got the rushes back." Continuing, he added "I would have been very bitter [if the rushes were stolen], it would have really messed us up as we didn't have a lot of money and I don't think we would have been able to reshoot that stuff, if we had of lost it. We had luck on our side that day."
Thank goodness for that then. Turning his attention back to the film itself, Drew admitted "It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Think of the hardest thing you've ever had to do in your life and that's what is was for me.I'm really proud," also stating "this is the biggest moment of my life. This is the hardest thing, the hardest task that life ever put in front of me and I got to the end of it, now it's my night to enjoy it."
