monotronic is the brand new musical project led by Curtis.

"Psychotronic EP" was produced by Curtis, mixed by Steve "Dub" Jones (The Chemical Brothers) with Curtis, and mastered by Mike Marsh at The Exchange, London.

Take the spirit of 90s rave (think The Chemical Brothers, LFO or Orbital), mix in some iconic indie (The Stone Roses, Primal Scream) and root the lot in acid house, techno and 60s psychedelic rock. Add the famous French Touch and monotronic is what you've got.

After releasing a first EP in 1996, Curtis' first album "Grand Hotel" was ranked one of the top 20 1998 albums by English dance music magazine Mixmag. "This pop-electro hybrid is fuelled by the same energy as rock music, hip hop and dub." The free spirit of French Touch released his second album "Transfer" in 2002, recorded at London's Olympic Studio and produced by Hugo Nicolson (Primal Scream, David Holmes).

He exiled himself to Manchester in 2006 where he became resident DJ at Melt nights and started the group Honestly Express Yourself (H.E.Y.) with Denise Johnson (Primal Scream, Electronic, A Certain Ratio).

In 2014, Curtis is back with the "Psychotronic" EP and a forthcoming new album with his brand new musical project monotronic.
