Bombay Bicycle Club Announce New Songs For Record Store Day 7" Out April 19th 2014 Only 1000 Copies To Be Sold Around The World
Riding on the wave of a No.1 album and a critically acclaimed - and completely sold out - tour, Bombay Bicycle Club have announced a limited edition 7" release specifically for Record Store Day 2014, out April 19th, of which there will only be 1000 copies around the world. Record Store Day came into being in 2007 when over 700 independent stores in the USA came together to celebrate their unique culture. The UK followed suit and 2014 will see the seventh celebration of the UK's unique independent sector. This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music.
Bombay Bicycle Club's recent No.1 album, 'So Long, See You Tomorrow' - their fourth in five years - saw the band that are not even halfway through their twenties, break through the traditional confines of indie. As a 'band on the verge of an arena breakthrough' (Evening Standard), the London four-piece have become one of UK's most innovative and important bands.
The band are developing an impeccable reputation for their visually and audibly arresting live show. They soon head to the US for a huge 31date tour including Coachella (with all but a few dates already sold out), followed by a string of festival dates including Latitude, Reading & Leeds and T in the Park.
