Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe On Bbc Two

The brand new 6 x 30 minute comedy series launches on 31st January at 10.00pm

In a brand new topical studio show, Charlie Brooker turns his unique eye on what's been happening in the world of news, politics and culture. He'll digest all the latest newspaper headlines, TV shows, adverts, films, books, computer games, product launches, social media sensations and You Tube phenomena - and then most likely spit them out again.

Each programme will include a sprinkle of studio chat, VTs and amusing archive. Charlie will be joined in the studio by a couple of celebrity guests and experts for a topical discussion with a difference, and regular contributors on VT will include US Comedian Doug Stanhope, vacuous TV critics Barry Shitpeas and Philomena Cunk.

Charlie Brooker commented, "Every week we'll be looking at TV, games, 'things in the ether', the online world, and anything and everything in-between. And if we need to pad the show out a bit, we'll probably review egg whisks too."
