Christina Perri Releases Second Single 'Burning Gold' Released In The UK 9th June 2014

Following the release of her second album 'HEAD OR HEART', Christina Perri has announced the second single from the album. 'BURNING GOLD' is set for release on 9 June.
 
The single follows the fantastic album result, in which it debuted at #8 in the UK and reached #4 in the Billboard chart. "HEAD OR HEART" - which follows the acclaimed singer/songwriter's breakthrough 2011 debut, "lovestrong" - was recorded over the past year with production from Martin Johnson (Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo), Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, One Direction), John Hill (P!nk, Santigold), and Butch Walker (Panic! At The Disco/Fall Out Boy). The album was mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning engineer Manny Marroquin (Kanye West, John Legend, Alicia Keys).
 
Named as iTunes "Breakthrough Pop Artist of 2011", Perri earned critical applause and an increasingly fervent fan following with her extraordinary debut, "lovestrong." Highlighted by the 4x-platinum certified smash, "Jar of Hearts," which has sold over 950k copies in the UK alone!  The album - produced by Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (White Stripes, My Morning Jacket) - proved an international sensation with top 5 success in Australia and Ireland as well as top 10 sales in Canada and the United Kingdom.
 
Perri followed "lovestrong" with the 4 x Platinum certified hit single, "A Thousand Years", exclusively featured on Summit Entertainment/Chop Shop/Atlantic's "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 & 2 - Original Motion Picture Soundtracks". To date, the single has sold over 545k in the UK!
