Embrace Announce New Single 'Follow You Home' Released On 28th April & Available To Download From 11 March 2014

First Uk Tour In 7 Years On Sale Now / New Album 'Embrace' Released 28th April

After recently announcing their return with new album 'Embrace' on 28th April, Yorkshire 5-piece Embrace have announced a new single 'Follow You Home' which will be released proper on 28th April but will also be available to download as a track from tomorrow.

With 3 number one albums, 6 top ten singles, sold out arena shows, over 2.5 million UK album sales and their last record achieving both #1 album and #2 single, Embrace were on the crest of a wave when they suddenly vanished without a trace. But now they are back with a new single and a fantastic new album conveying a more raw and darker sound whilst still keeping their signature anthems and huge choruses.

Embrace are brothers singer Danny McNamara and guitarist Richard McNamara, bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale and drummer Mike Heaton and the band recorded the new record in their own studio in Halifax over the last three years.

The first release from the record was the single 'Refugees' which was released last month as part of a 4-track EP reaching #2 in the iTunes album chart, and gave fans a taster of the new record with three brand new songs not featured on the new album. New single 'Follow You Home' comes from the band's new album and is an anthemic track that conveys the band's newer sound but is typical Embrace in the huge and unforgettable chorus. The track is officially released on 28th April as a digital bundle also including brand new track 'Equal' but fans will be able to buy it as an instant grat on the iTunes album pre-order from tomorrow.

Embrace recently performed two secret shows for fans in their hometowns of Bradford and Halifax. The shows have been a showcase for various off the wall shock art tactics, with the band taking the secret gig concept to the next level with a gig in the darkness and a gig in a boxing ring, with the audience dressed in white boiler suits and covered in neon paint. Though the shows were strictly secret, fan forums went into meltdown with both shows selling out in minutes and fans flying in to see the band from as far as Australia and Japan.

Last month, Embrace performed 4 intimate shows in Scotland and have recently announced a 10-date UK tour in May including two headline shows at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire with the tour kicking off in Liverpool on 9th May. The first London show sold out in minutes with a second night added straight away followed by further sell-outs in Manchester, Leeds & Liverpool.
