Hannah Scott Releases Debut Ep 'Still Static' Out 25th Feb 2013

'Still Static' is the title of the debut EP and lead single from Hannah Scott. The 5-track EP showcases the attributes she is fast becoming known for: distinctive voice, sharp lyrics and melodies that remain with you long after the listening experience.

The EP features world-class musicians including David Clayton (Simply Red, Take That), and is produced by long-time musical collaborator, Stefano Della Casa.

Hannah has already started to garner interest from influential press and fellow musical alumni. MOJO shortlisted her for the final of their 'New Voice' competition and she has been featured regularly in the magazine since. The Guardian soon followed in their approval, selecting her as their 'New Band of the Day' in the autumn. Further appreciation has come from BBC 6Music's Tom Robinson, who has given Hannah early airplay and full endorsement.

Hannah's arresting live performances earned her an invitation to open for Norah Jones, as well as support slots for Ed Sheeran and Seth Lakeman. Headline shows, festival appearances and national radio airplay have been steadily drawing in a burgeoning following of music fans and industry folk alike. And, in the vein of a true live artist, she is due to complement the EP release with a full UK and European tour.

'Still Static' is a collection of thoughtful pop songs that mesh acoustic and folk sensibilities with Hannah's singular, luminous voice.

Tour dates to be announced...
