Jimi Raine Streams New Single 'Rock N Roll Band' Released In The UK June 24th 2014 [Listen]

His debut single 'Rock n Roll Band', is released on midsummer's day, June 24th 2014. A slightly tongue in cheek video featuring shots of rock n roll legends such as Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger, and Roger Daltrey (cut together with photos of Jimi and his band) taken by legendary rock photographer Danny Clifford

The last time Danny licensed his photographs for promotional use was in 1978 to Bob Dylan!

Inspired by Springsteen, U2 and The Clash, Jimi's mission melds massive guitars, drums and explosive vocals, equally at home soundtracking loss and love, grief and grand times.

Having led various bands as a teenager, Jimi was spotted in 2012 by multi-award winning producer, Andy Wright (Jeff Beck, Simple Minds, Imelda May) and they embarked on the development of his solo career, culminating in the debut album, 'Stranger' at Assault and Battery studios in London, it will be released at the end of the year.

"These tracks are a collection of emotional experiences, some specifically about things I've found difficult to talk about, others, such as 'Rock n Roll Band' about the built up frustrations of every day life. Some people do therapy, some take Prozac, I make rock music.. "

Jimi and his band are making their mark one stage at a time.
