Grammy-nominated artist Matisyahu will embark on a nationwide tour with reggae/rock band Rebelution beginning August 7. The dates are in celebration of his his latest release Spark Seeker, which was produced by Kool Kojak (Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha) and hailed as "riveting" by American Songwriter and "infectious" by Consequence of Sound; upon its release the record debuted in the Billboard Top 20. Known for his innovative blend of reggae, rock, hip-hop and traditional Jewish themes, Matisyahu has garnered critical acclaim and established an extensive fan base since his 2004 debut Shake off the Dust.Arise. His upcoming tour includes stops at Colorado's famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Santa Barbara Bowl and Central Park SummerStage in New York; please see below for a complete list of dates.

Matisyahu is also launching the "Live Like a Warrior-Stand For Change" YouTube campaign in partnership with music website Metrolyrics and Defeat The Label, a non-profit organization that strives to promote an inclusive, judgement-free society. The campaign, which will run throughout May, invites musicians to upload their YouTube covers of Matisyahu's "Live Like A Warrior" to help spread the messages of anti-bullying and self-empowerment.  Matisyahu will choose one contest winner to join him on stage to sing "Live Like A Warrior" during an upcoming show. The campaign also includes the #LiveLikeAWarrior initiative, spreading inspirational messages from Matisyahu across social media platforms.

Spark Seeker is Matishayu's first album since he relocated from Crown Heights in Brooklyn to Los Angeles with his family in 2011, a year which also saw the singer shave his noteworthy beard. The album followed the release of 2005's Live at Stubb's, which reached #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, 2006's Youth, which debuted at #4 on Billboard's Top 200 and reached #1 on the Reggae Albums chart and 2009's Light, which was reached #1 on the Reggae Albums chart and stayed in the top spot for 34 weeks. Both Live at Stubbs and Youth were nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album.
