Olivia Sebastianelli Joins Nina Nesbitt On Her Autumn 2013 Nationwide Tour

Anglo-Italian singer-songwriter Olivia Sebastianelli joins Nina Nesbitt on her nationwide tour of the UK starting today (7th Oct) in Brighton.

Olivia says of the chance to join Nina on tour - 'Can't wait to go in tour with my Scottish unicorn Nina Nesbitt! My boys are a bunch of silly sausages! Gonna be so much fun!'

Olivia earned a number of glowing comparisons to the likes of Bat For Lashes, The xx and Stevie Nicks following the release of her debut single 'Rose of Stone' earlier this year, which was released as a free download. Olivia is now poised to build on that initial acclaim with the release of her first EP 'Perfect Getaway' on October 6th.

Produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Young Guns) and mixed by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro), the lead track 'Perfect Getaway' contrasts the dreamy, ethereal atmospherics of 'Rose of Stone' with a vibrant surge of pop melody and summery melancholy.

"'Perfect Getaway is about getting away from a stressful situation and escaping to be on your own" she explains. "It was one of the first songs I wrote, so it's nice to give old songs a rebirth."

The EP also features a live version of 'Perfect Getaway', new track 'Despite the Day' and a cover of Biffy Clyro's 'Black Chandelier'. Recently seen supporting Elvis Costello and Ray Davies at the British Summer Time show, and on tour with singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt, Olivia Sebastianelli also played her first major festival when she took to the stage at Rockness.
