Redinho Announces New Single 'Searching' Out Now

'Searching' by Redinho is out now on Numbers, as debuted on B. Traits' BBC Radio 1 show.

Showcasing those recognizable but uncategorizable Redinho touches, 'Searching' is underpinned by an instantly uplifting melody, lush synths and an imaginative, dextrous use of the talkbox.

'Searching' follows on from the video for 'Stinger' which was premiered last month, and comes in advance of Redinho's debut album later this year - more news on that soon.

Londoner Redinho (pronounced red-een-yo) is a multi talented producer, songwriter, vocalist and live performer. Following time spent playing synths and talkbox in live funk bands, Redinho began working on his solo material with Numbers in 2010, when his beat tape 'Bare Blips' was released in its raw demo state.  

His last couple of years have been spent grafting in the studio and refining his talkbox-meets-synthesiser live shows, with 2011 release 'Stay Together' acting as a glimpse of what's to come. In the process he's been garnering a varied musical fanbase - including Jessie Ware, Mark Bell (LFO / Bjork), Mark Ronson and Hudson Mohawke.
