Prince William and Kate Middleton have postponed their honeymoon until the summer, reports US Weekly Magazine. Prince William and his wife had expected to honeymoon shortly after their wedding on Friday (29th April 2011) but the 28-year-old will now return to work in Anglesey, Wales.
It was announced in February that the pair's first official excursion would be to Canada on 30th June 2011 to 8th July 2011, with an official honeymoon expected to take place in either May of June. A royal insider said, "They will be going on an overseas honeymoon before Canada". The married couple spent the weekend at an undisclosed location in the UK, but the source said, "This small break is just for them to catch their breath, and catch up with work, before embarking on a trip". The UK's Daily Mail report that Prince William will be whisking Middleton away to an 'Indian Ocean hideaway' for a ten day holiday later in May 2011. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will reportedly stay in an exclusive villa that costs £4,000 a night and is located "on one of the most beautiful and romantic islands in the world".
Prince William and Kate Middleton married in a ceremony watched by a reported 2 billion people worldwide. Guests at the Westminster Abbey ceremony included Guy Ritchie, David Beckham with his wife Victoria Beckham and ELTON JOHN.
