Prince William will marry girlfriend Kate Middleton in the second week of August 2011 at Westminster Abbey, reports the UK's Daily Mail, who cite a senior source from the venue. However, People Magazine say the couple may have a different date in mind, stating, "No date or engagement has been confirmed, others have suggested that a wedding could occur on Aug. 31, on the 14th anniversary of Princess Diana's death".
After meeting whilst university flatmates, the high-profile couple have been dating for around seven years now but news of an engagement has been shrouded in mystery - the Palace have quelled most suggestions that a proposal is imminent, but new speculation suggests an announcement could be made in the near future.
Credence has been added to the claims because of the couple's inability to marry in 2012 due to the London Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration - both William and Kate are now 28-years-old. Back in 2009, William's brother Harry was voted #1 in a list of the 50 most eligible bachelors by Company Magazine.
