Girl group Pussycat Dolls have ended Madonna's hold over the UK singles chart with STICKWITU jumping straight in at number one.

Oasis are another new entry at number two with LET THERE BE LOVE, while Madonna drops two places to number three with her smash hit HUNG UP, which had been the nation's top-selling single for three weeks.

Boyband Westlife fall two places to number four with YOU RAISE ME UP, while Black Eyed Peas are this week's number five with MY HUMPS.

Madonna has also been knocked off the top of the UK albums chart - by new Eminem compilation CURTAIN CALL - THE HITS. The MATERIAL GIRL's latest disc CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR is at number three.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS' INTENSIVE CARE climbs two positions to number two, while his former band Take That's NEVER FORGET - THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION falls a place to number four.
