Queen Latifah has created her own make-up line, the Cover Girl Queen Collection, for women of colour. The singer is one of the faces of Cover Girl cosmetics and has teamed with the company to create a special range of make-up. She explains, "Anyone who wears my make-up has got to be a queen. I'm sure they'll feel like it once they get that make-up on!" After years of experimenting and learning from renowned make-up artists, she draws on that knowledge to create her new collection and believes it's important to promote diverse images of beauty. She says, "There's been a positive response to seeing someone who looks like me, an African-American woman, who's not a size six, obviously, kind of a thick, curvaceous girl looking beautiful."
