The forthcoming Quentin Tarantino film INGLORIOUS BASTERDS it set to be shown in competition at the Cannes Film Festival in May, it has been revealed.
Featuring the acting talent of Brad Pitt, Mike Myers and Diane Kruger, the movie follows the story of a group of Jewish-American soldiers who embark on a revenge mission in Nazi-occupied France.
According to Variety, the picture will receive its premier in France during this May's festival.
However, the official line up is not due to be announced until April 23rd and the production company behind the movie remained tight lipped.
One things is for sure though, Tarantino is popular at Cannes, with his 1994 film Pulp FICTION having won the Palme d'Or and the man himself serving as president of the jury five years ago.
The title of the director's latest project was changed by studio bosses at Universal Pictures.
Previously, the second word featured a more conventional spelling.
