Radiohead have rubbished claims by a British politician alleging they altered their set list at a recent gig to include his song request. Conservative Party leader David Cameron attended an acoustic gig, doubling as a Friends Of The Earth benefit show, by singer Thom Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood at London's Koko venue on 1 May (06). Cameron claims the duo performed FAKE PLASTIC TREES at his request: "I sent this rather sad letter saying I'd love to come to the concert, thank you for asking. PS please play this, my favourite song - and he (Yorke) did." But the band are keen to distance themselves from the politician's comments. A spokesman says, "The set list was chosen to reflect the fact that it was just Thom and Jonny playing and the choice of songs was what they wanted to play - nothing to do with any special requests."
