Reggaeton sensations Rakim + KEN-Y are in seventh heaven after leading the 2007 Billboard Latin Music Awards nominations with seven big nods.
The duo's haul includes Hot Latin Song of The Year and Reggaeton Song and Album of The Year.
The newcomers became a chart sensation in 2006 with their debut album, MASTERPIECE: NUESTRA OBRA MAESTRA, while their hit single DOWN became a ringtone smash.
Others celebrating after the nominations were announced yesterday (14FEB07) include singer/songwriter MARIANO BARBA and salsa star LA INDIA, who claimed five nods each, and Shakira, Mana, RBD, FONSECA, WISIN + YANDEL, JOAN SEBASTIAN and AVENTURA were honoured with four.
