Legendary Hollywood pin-up Raquel Welch has spoken out in defence of troubled star Lindsay Lohan, insisting fans criticise her too much.
The screen icon, 70, understands the Mean Girls actress is an easy target because of her self-inflicted legal troubles and personal woes.
But Welch sympathises with the way Lohan is constantly berated as though it's "open season" on her.
The One Million Years B.C. star tells Aarp Viva magazine, "I'm the antidote to Lindsay Lohan. I know she misbehaves terribly, but sometimes it just seems like it's open season on her."
