Blur, The Stone Roses, Florence + the Machine and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds lead the nominations for this year's Q Awards.

The four acts have each received nominations in two categories for this year's ceremony, which takes place in London on October 22.

Blur and The Stone Roses will go head-to-head in the coveted Best Act in the World Today category, in which they face competition from Muse, Coldplay and Lady GaGa, and the two reformed acts will also contest Best Live Act with Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead and Cribs.

Florence + the Machine are up for Best Track with 'Shake It Out' and Best Solo Artist, the later of which Noel Gallagher is also nominated, along with Adele, Emeli Sande and Dizzee Rascal.

Noel is also up for Best Video for 'Everybody's On The Run'.
