Rihanna has raised over $50 million for the MAC AIDS Fund.

The 'FourFiveSeconds' hitmaker designed two lines of Viva Glam lipstick and lipglass for the cosmetics brand MAC, which was then sold to raise money to support those who suffer from the deadly disease.

Announcing the news, the brand's official Twitter account read: ''And...congrats to @rihanna on raising $50 mill+ for @MACAIDSFund during her 2014 #VIVAGLAM reign. Most ever in one year!''

The 26-year-old beauty firstly released a bold red lipstick and lipglass before revealing a second, a more demure grey tinted frosted purple colour.

Announcing the campaign last year, alongside a photo of her sporting bright green hair, she wrote: ''Check out my new @MACcosmetics #VivaGlam ad.

''All sales go to people affected by HIV/AIDS. Comin @ ya this September!!''

Describing the product on their official website, MAC writes: ''Pop icon Rihanna brings a bold look to her fierce new VIVA GLAM campaign, accenting her fearless, confident style with shades of frosted metallic mauve Lipstick and Lipglass, in velvety soft red packaging featuring her signature. Also available, the modern red hues of Rihanna's original VIVA GLAM collection.

''The full R.R.P less V.A.T from the sale of this lipstick and lipglass goes towards helping women, men and children everywhere affected by HIV/AIDS.''

Other celebrities who have launched exclusive Glam product lines in the past include Sir Elton John, Nicki Minaj, Ricky Martin, Lady GaGa and most recently, Miley Cyrus.
