R&B beauty Rihanna wanted to have a new piece of body art inked on her face last month (Oct12), but her tattoo artist refused to go through with it.

The Umbrella singer has an extensive collection of tattoos, including stars on her back, a revolver on her torso, and a large image of ancient Egyptian goddess Isis between her breasts as a tribute to her beloved grandmother, who died in June (12).

Rihanna has now revealed she made another trip to a tattoo parlour in New York City in October (12) to have an inking on her face, but the man in charge refused to carry out her request.

She tells Britain's GQ magazine, "The tattoo artist said 'Nope, I'm not gonna do it because if you're looking at your face, it's right there staring at you'... Life can be such a d**k sometimes, right?"
