Robbie Williams acknowledges music mogul Simon Cowell was "probably right" when he urged the pop star to go home to his mother to sort out his problems instead of check into rehab. Unsympathetic Cowell blasted Williams and Britney Spears, while they were undergoing treatment at Arizona's The Meadows clinic and California's Promises respectively, claiming the singers had no idea what hard life really was. The American Idol judge said, "This whole thing is a total indulgence. Britney and Robbie need to get a grip... So when I hear about the Robbies and the Britneys going to into rehab, I think, 'I'll tell you what rehab is. Go to where I just went, where people are really suffering and then you'll see just how good your life is.'" The former Take That singer has overcome his addiction to painkillers and caffeine after checking out of The Meadows on 3 March (07) and is now feeling better than ever. He says, "It's going really good. I got the train back on the track. I've been sober since February 13 and look at me - I'm brand spanking new again. "Simon was quoted as saying, 'Britney and Robbie just need to get their s**t together and go spend a few weeks with their mothers.' "He is usually right about things. He's probably right about that."
