Singer Robbie Williams is moving back to his native England to ensure his children get the benefit of the country's education system.

The Angels hitmaker has spent most of his time in Los Angeles since 2006, briefly returning to the U.K. in 2009 after buying a sprawling country estate in Wiltshire, England but offloading it again the following year.

However, the former Take That star is now bringing his family to the British capital after reportedly spending $4 million (£2.5 million) on a north London home so his 21-month-old daughter Teddy and unborn second child can be educated in his home nation.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "I love L.A. The people and the weather are great but it's not England. It can't offer the same. Things change when you're a dad - there are people to look after who are more important than yourself. I want Teddy and the new baby, whatever it may be, to be educated in England.

"Teddy is already surrounded by English people so she's bound to have an accent anyway. But that's not the point - we want to educate her in London. We've just bought a ruddy big house so we had better be coming back!"
