Robbie Williams once came close to posing nude for a gay magazine - so he could buy a new Jeep.

The pop superstar was a naive teenage star in Take That when the boy band's gay manager NIGEL MARTIN-SMITH tried to push him to announce he was bisexual.

Williams, who wasn't gay, fell for his manager's trick - but only because he wanted a new car.

He recalls, "Our manager loved to think I was gay, and he'd tease me about it all the time.

"He decided to play a joke on me and said that a gay magazine would pay me a lot of money if I would pose nude.

"I wanted a Jeep. There was no shoot, and I was crushed. I'm standing there crying, 'I want a jeep, here's my c**k.'"
