The trailer for Robert Pattinson's new movie 'Water For Elephants' hit the web today (17th December 2010), giving fans a first glimpse of the big screen adaptation of SARA GRUEN's bestselling novel. The film also features Reese Witherspoon and 'Inglorious Basterds' star CHRISTOPHER WALTZ and is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated movies of 2011.
The film, which is described by MTV News as being "beautifully shot", follows the story of a Depression-era circus named 'The Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth'. The film is told in flashbacks narrated by a 90-year-old version of Pattinson's character 'Jacob Janowksi'. Jacob's love interest 'Marlena Rosenbluth' is played by Witherspoon, but their relationship is constantly under threat from Marlena's violent animal-trainer father played expertly by Waltz. "You're a beautiful woman, you deserve a beautiful life" Jacob tells Marlena in the trailer, but her Ringleader father is determined to keep the pair apart.
'Water for Elephants' is directed by 'I Am Legend's' Francis Lawrence and is set to hit cinemas on April 15th 2011.
