Roberto Cavalli is to dress Shakira for the closing ceremony of the 2010 soccer World Cup.

The Italian fashion designer - who previously worked with the Spice Girls on their 2007/08 world tour - will dress the 'She Wolf' singer for the third time during the event's festivities, as she has already worn two of his creations to perform at the opening ceremony in South Africa.

The outfit for the closing performance features a silk-fringed skirt covered in Pink flowers and ethnic prints, while a separate top is embroidered with multi-coloured pearls.

Accessories will include leather bracelets ornately decorated with floral silk.

Shakira will perform her song 'Waka Waka' at the event, as she did at the opening ceremony.

The Columbian-born singer recently spoke of her excitement at performing at the World Cup.

She said: "I am honoured that 'Waka Waka' was chosen to be part of the excitement and the legacy of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

"The soccer World Cup is a miracle of global excitement, connecting every country, race, religion and condition around a single passion."
