Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb is "determined" to fight his way back to full health following his recent hospitalisation.
The Staying Alive hitmaker is in a stable condition at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, England, where he was admitted on Thursday (13Oct11) after suffering acute abdominal pains at his home in Oxfordshire.
Gibb's manager Eaton has now opened up about his pal's illness, revealing he's seriously concerned because the star's twin brother Maurice died of a similar condition in 2003.
But Eaton claims the singer is determined to be fighting fit as soon as possible.
He tells Britain's The People newspaper, "Obviously it is a worry. This is what did it for his brother Maurice - but what is different is his condition was left for a long time and Robin's has not been. Our concern is that it keeps recurring but he is determined (to get better) and we just hope things will be OK. Robin just wants to get back to work."
Gibb is expected to be discharged following further medical tests.
