Late Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb gave the mother of his lovechild a reported $6.4 million (£4 million) payment before his death to make sure the little girl is looked after, according to a U.K. report.
The singer, who passed away last weekend (20May12) after a battle with cancer, reportedly handed over a large cash sum to his former housekeeper Claire Yang in January (12) for their daughter, Snow Evelyn Robin Juliet Gibb.
Yang gave birth to Snow in 2008 and Gibb reportedly paid for them to move into a house close to his home in Oxfordshire which he shared with his wife, Dwina.
A source tells Britain's Sunday Mirror, "Robin never walked away from his responsibilities and always made sure the child was fully provided for. Snow Robin is a Gibb child so will be treated exactly the same as the other three children."
The house where Yang lives with Snow was reportedly transferred into her name four weeks before the singer's death.
