The album features tracks which were recorded between 1969 and 1970, many of which were destined for his second solo record, Sing Slowly Sisters, which was never released.

The rarities have been salvaged by fans and collectors, and Gibb started putting them together himself around 10 years ago. The project was continued by producer Andrew Sandoval after Gibb passed away in 2012, and the album, titled Saved By The Bell, is due for release in the U.K. in June (15).

The record will mark Gibb's second posthumous release following 2014's 50 St. Catherine's Drive, which featured music recorded by the star between 2006 and 2008.
