Scandalous rumours about veteran actor Roger Moore's homosexual adventures with Irish director BRIAN DESMOND HURST have finally been slammed in a new book.

Author CHRISTOPHER ROBBINS's biography of Hurst - THE EMPRESS OF IRELAND - details how the late director discovered the 16-year-old THE SPY WHO LOVED ME star, cast him in 1949 movie TOTTIE TRUE, paid his tuition fees at Britain's ROYAL ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ART (RADA) and lavished gifts upon him.

But openly homosexual Hurst insists in the book, "Everyone thinks that Roger and I were lovers, but Roger Moore is not like that."
