Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger is spending this Christmas with his ex-wife Jerry Hall and their children.

The rocker, who split from Hall in the 1990s, is organising the family's festive gathering while veteran model Hall is busy working on a traditional British pantomime show in London.

And she hopes keeping busy over yuletide will keep Jagger's spirits up following the suicide of his long-term girlfriend L'Wren Scott in March (14).

Hall tells U.K. Tv host Lorraine Kelly, "My ex, Mick, is going to be holding down the fort. He's going to be organising the stockings, the tree, the food. We're very friendly. I think it is quite good for him as he is coming off a tour and he has had a rough time. It would be good to be busy with the kids and do all that."

Hall also reveals what her former husband is buying her for Christmas, adding, "He is getting me a new fridge freezer, I hope. I want an ice maker, that's my fantasy. I've already hinted quite a lot."
