The Rolling Stones have extended their 50 & Counting Tour by announcing their first New Zealand and Australia tour in almost a decade.

The rockers have listed an itinerary on their mobile app, which features plans to perform in Perth in March (14) and play seven shows culminating with a concert in Auckland, New Zealand on 5 April (13).

The Stones last performed in Australia and New Zealand in 2006 on their Bigger Bang tour.

The group announced last month (Nov13) that they would inaugurate the new Oval stadium in Adelaide with a concert there on 22 March (13) and tickets sold out in three three hours.

The Stones are expected to add more dates to their 2014 tour Down Under.
