The Rolling Stones are hitting the road for nine concerts in the U.S and Canada.

The veteran rockers got back together last year (12) to perform 50th anniversary shows in the U.K. and the States, and on Wednesday (03Apr13) they announced another clutch of shows for fans in North America who missed out.

Sir Mick Jagger and his pals will play gigs at cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago in Illinois, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The tour has been dubbed "50 and Counting" as a nod to the Brown Sugar hitmakers' 51st year in music and kicks off next month (May13), continuing through to mid-June. Billboard.com reports the band's management is also preparing to announce a further nine shows.

The Rolling Stones will play California concerts in Oakland, San Jose and L.A. before heading to Las Vegas, Anaheim in California, Toronto, Canada, Chicago, Boston in Massachusetts, and Philadelphia.
