'Damages' star Rose Byrne used to aspire to be like Kylie Minogue and says the singer inspired her to become a performer.
Rose Byrne wanted to be Kylie Minogue.
The 'Damages' actress is a huge fan of her fellow Australian and was inspired by the sexy singer to start performing.
Rose, the youngest of four children, said: "I was totally obsessed. I had lofty ambitions to be her. I loved performing; I was always trying to impress my siblings by being a clown. I think that came from being the runt of the litter."
Rose also revealed she is looking forward to filming the next series of 'Damages', in she stars alongside Glenn Close, as it gives her some stability in her work life.
She said: "I'm excited about going back. I love the regularity of a series, I think having regular work has probably given me more confidence and security. I tend to spiral out of control if I'm not working. I get panicked and don't know what to do with myself."
